How to type ALT code symbols

Press the ALT key and type the ALT code with the keyboard's numeric keypad.

Example:

ALT+65 will write the capital A letter.

An ALT code generator for Windows allows users to generate special characters and symbols using the ALT key and numerical codes on their keyboard. Some common ALT codes include ALT + 0169 for the copyright symbol ©, ALT + 0153 for the trademark symbol ™, and ALT + 0162 for the cent symbol ¢.

To use an ALT code generator, simply select the symbol or character you want to generate, and the tool will provide the corresponding ALT code. You can then use this code in any Windows application by holding down the ALT key and entering the code on the numeric keypad.

It is important to note that not all symbols and special characters can be generated using ALT codes, and some may require the use of a different method, such as copying and pasting from a symbol library. Additionally, the availability of ALT codes may vary between different versions of Windows.
